Oil on Arches Oil Paper, mounted on archival white foam core, 12"x16" I know there should be a question mark... but I don't want there to be, it's a question as a statement. This is one of two nudes I've painted so far, and it is also a self portrait which makes it very special to me. I don't like making myself vulnerable- but I have come to believe that it's the only way to truly make art. The tattoo (which I actually have) is after a painting by Felix Vallotton named "The Kiss" 1898. Vallotton is one of my favorite painters who also happened to share my birthday, December, 28th. I am going to attach an image of the original painting and a close up of my tattoo for fun.
