As I pass through certain moments of my experience I feel the resonance of my painting voice there. I gather these moments to me, understanding later as I paint them what I was passage I was traveling through. My process and execution favor economy, utilizing intuition to guide my practice. I paint for the moment when I can feel the core likeness and truth of my subject.
