As soon as there were cameras placed into our phones I began snapping moments that felt important to me. Over time I came to understand that these images were my subject. Now, as I pass through certain moments of my experience I feel the resonance of my painting voice there and gather reference in this way.

My process is economical, utilizing intuition over analysis to decide what to paint and how to paint it. Technically, I paint for the moment when I can feel the core likeness of my subject.

My work is evidence of the journey, chronicling cycles of personal evolution.
