This class is studio style (practical). Each week you will engage in painting from life. This may be a still life, portrait, or interior.

The practice/assignment will remain the same: paint an alla prima study in three hours from life. Around that repeated structure you grow and develop your skill, taste, and voice.

Felicia offers guidance in the form of advice, philosophy, and demonstration as you need it throughout this practice.
